Even More Critical Today: Cybersecurity in the Energy Sector
Widespread concerns about start of recession in global economy and geopolitical developments including Russian invasion of Ukraine has one more time put the energy sector under spotlight. Aside the temporary circumstances, the cybersecurity of organizations in the energy sector has always been a hot topic.
Cyberattacks on energy infrastructure experienced a remarkable rise in the whole year of 2022 and in particular in the third quarter of 2022, with a record high of major incidents, as the S&P Global Energy Security Sentinel showed.
