1- FBI Recovered $4.4M Worth of BTC From Colonial’s Ransomware Payment

The U.S Justice Department has recovered most of a multimillion-dollar ransom payment made to hackers after a cyberattack that caused the operator of the nation’s largest fuel pipeline to halt its operations last month.Read more

2- Chrome Browser Bug Under Active Attack

Google is warning that a bug in its Chrome web browser is actively under attack, and it is urging users to upgrade to the latest 91.0.4472.101 version to mitigate the issue. Google rolled out fixes for 14 bugs impacting its Windows, Mac and Linux browsers as part of its June update. Read more

3- Microsoft Patches Six Zero-Day Security Holes

Microsoft released another round of security updates for Windows operating systems and supported software, including fixes for six zero-day bugs that malicious hackers already are exploiting in active attacks. Read more

4- ‘Nameless’ Malware Attacks 1.2TB Database in the Cloud

So-called “nameless” undetected malware stole a database in the cloud that contained some 1.2 terabytes of files, cookies, and credentials that came from 3.2 million Windows-based computers.
