Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) allows system users to safely log in to the platform using the information supplied by an identity provider without having to enter a password at the authentication phase.
In this way, the user does not need to set a password on the platform and change it constantly. The authentication phase is authenticated by the Microsoft AD FS server in the customer’s own environment.
Users in Active Directory update their passwords in accordance with the company’s policies. They won’t need to update the platform password once they’ve changed their password.
